Digital Initiative for African Schools

Digital Initiative is a service, project or program that contributes to enabling every African student to conveniently and confidently use digital devices and the internet, via improving motivation, access, skills or trust. This Initiative works in partnership with African Christian schools to help their students use digital devices towards becoming digital skill professionals. This Initiative concentrates more on basic computing and digital literacy for all categories of students from elementary to tertiary institution. It also inculcates work-relevant skills and some socially relevant skills for the teachers of registered member schools.

The proper time to close the digital skills gap among young Africans is now.  Using the strategy “Catch them young”, DIFAS has concluded all plans to swing into action towards eliminating digital divide among African youngsters.  With the advancement of Internet Technology, every student of this great continent has potentials to compete with their counterparts in other continents with full assurance of excelling more than them all.

What is lacking in Africa is not the brain-competence but the enabling environment that could sustain the interest and passion of potential digital professionalse. This is what DIFAS stands for.  DIFAS is an initiative of PlusAfri Global Network, a digital skill professional which has contributed largely to creating awareness of digital skills among Africans.  The success recorded by this PlusAfri Global brought about full concentration to young Africans which eventually gave birth to Digital Initiative for Young Africans (DIYAS) which has the following branches.

  1. Digital Initiative for African Schools (DIFAS)
  2. Digital Initiative for African Businesses (DIFAB)
  3. Digital Initiative for African Ministries (DIFAM)

Each of these branches is headed by highly competent individuals who lead their teams towards achieving corporate goal of this our blessed Institution.  Invitation is opened to all willing Africans who desire to inculcate this worldly sought-after skills in their various endeavours.
